Talent Development Project Scholarship Program 2020

The TDP is proud to announce applications for the 2020 TDP Foundation Scholarship Program are now OPEN, which will award several $5,000 scholarships annually to eligible TDP graduates.

The selection panel includes the TDP Artistic Director and Creative Team. A short list of applicants will be chosen and the scholarship winners will be announced in May 2020.

The scholarship program commences with a call for applications, open from Friday 28th February 2020.

All submissions must be sent in by 5pm on Friday 17th April 2020.

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

1. The TDP Scholarship Program is open to TDP graduates up to the age of 28 years old.

2. Scholarships are open to Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents only.

4. Applicants must demonstrate high motivation.

5. Dedication to achieve career goals.

6. Demonstrated work ethic and passion for the music industry.

7. The scholarship is not open to previous recipients of this $5,000 scholarship.

WHAT IS A TDP FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP?

TDP Graduates, that fulfil the above criteria, can apply for this $5,000 scholarship to be used for financial support towards further training or activities, which will assist to develop a career in the music industry.

Possible options could include the following:

1. PURCHASE/UPGRADE OF TOOLS OF THE TRADE
a) Microphones & sound equipment
b) Backing tracks & or music software
c) Laptop
d) Music recording devices
e) Musical instruments

2. VOCAL/MOVEMENT/ACTING TRAINING

3. RECORDING SESSION
a) Musicians
b) Producer
c) Music charts
d) Engineer & studio

4. MUSIC VIDEO
a) Camera crew & director
b) Audio recording
c) Make-up/costuming/props
d) Venue/location
e) Post production/editing
f) Distribution & social media

5. OVERSEAS TUITION
a) Fees
b) Travel
c) Accommodation

6. TOURING

7. MAJOR PROJECTS
